Rally in the Rockies

A time to enjoy
Time in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies is a trip to remember. This is an area of Natural beauty and quiet peace of mind.
There are many Historic venues to visit and timeto just relax in this majestic setting. The Crowsnet Pass area was developed in 1897
By the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Railwaywhich followed the discovery in 1845 of coal in the area. The history of this region was influenced by railways and mining and all the adventure and tragedy associated with these two tough industries.
With the migration of people into the area came the colourful times of Cattle Rustling and Bootleg Rum Running between Canada and the United States.
This very rural setting was ideal to move back and forth between Alberta, British Columbia, Montana and Idaho.
This area is now prime Ranching country and the site of many Wind Giants producing Wind power. Quaint small towns with amazing history are waiting to be visited. A trip to beautiful Waterton Lake National Park is a must for all visitors.
Our time in Hill Spring, Alberta at the Historic Great Canadian Barn Dance promises a Trip back in time when we enjoyed Good Old Western hospitality and tradition, a chance to Experience a real old time barn Dance, great Music by the very talented Kunkel family, Wonderful food and beauty unimagined.
